Through PPSC, Punjab Higher Education Department has announced 613 new PPSC Lecturer Jobs including Female Lecturer Jobs and Male Lecturer Jobs.
Lecturers are needed for Biology, Urdu, Education, and Islamiyat.

Important Dates:
The written test for each of these posts will be conducted in December 2017 by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). It is expected that every department publishes its shortlisted candidates in January 2018.
Interviews for each department will be held between January and February 2018. The final list of selected candidates will be published within a few days after the interviews are conducted. It is expected that selected candidates receive their appointment letters between March – April 2018.
The last date for submission of online applications is December 1st, 2017. Candidates can apply for more than one post by filling out separate applications in respect of each post.
What is PST?
The Pakistan Steel Testing Laboratory (PSTL) is a government of Pakistan-owned independent testing agency under the administrative control of the Ministry of Industries & Production of the Government of Pakistan.
PSTL conducts various tests according to national or international standards for Chemical Composition, Mechanical Properties, Structural Integrity, and Corrosion Resistance for steel products produced in local industries as well as imported from abroad. Additionally,
PSTL is authorized by the Government of Pakistan/Steel Development Authority (SDA) to carry out Heat Treatment facilities up to the following facilities: Vacuum Induction Furnace; Steam Induction Furnace; Electron Beam Furnace; Oil Crucible Furnace; and Cast Blower Ovens etc.
Selection Procedure
The selection process for Punjab Public Service Commission will begin soon with a starting date to be published here as well as on their website. Candidates will have to follow closely as their registration process begins and ends within days of each other in August 2020.
There are many steps along the way that candidates must follow so it’s important they’re informed of them ahead of time. Here is a brief outline of how things will proceed – Written Test: This test will be held online during which time candidates can expect about 30 questions.
These questions will cover subjects including Urdu, English, Maths, General Knowledge, and Computer Skills.
To qualify for any of these positions, you should make sure you study these topics before taking your exam. You may also want to take advantage of practice tests available online so you can become familiar with what to expect when sitting down at your computer screen to take your exam.
Job Description
According to reports from PPSC Deputy Secretary Jobra Fawad, the candidates will be recruited as 10th pass teachers in government sector schools. While addressing a news conference here today he said that 4 posts of male and 2 female teachers each would be created in every school in Sindh.
The final merit list will be generated through the open merit category as in the previous year but there is also no guarantee for reserved seats for SC / ST candidates he further added.
He said that a total number of 824 seats were made available for females whereas only two were reserved for the male category according to an official notification issued by the Government of Sindh (Ministry of Education) whereas 722 seats are made available for female candidates out of total 473 notified vacancies.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on a Written Test followed by a Viva-Voce/Interview. The dates for the interview will be issued separately later. The candidates are required to submit their applications in person at the office of the Director-General Public Service Commission, Lahore.
They should bring along with the original documents (as per the attached list) along with attested copies of the same at the time of submission of the application form. No candidate will be entertained without submitting original documents and attested copies thereof at the time of submission of the application form.
No document shall be returned to any candidate after submission of his/her application form except educational certificates which would be returned after verification thereof if found genuine and in order.
Eligibility Criteria
To get admission in lectureship government jobs of Pakistan you must be a holder of a Master’s degree or equivalent degree from an accredited university or institute in a relevant discipline with a good CGPA/CPI.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years (as of 30-06-2019). However, relaxation in the upper age limit is allowed for Female candidates 5 years & For SC & ST Candidates 3 Years as per Rules & Regulations.
In addition to academic qualification, aspirants must fulfill the following requirements: A valid National Identity Card issued by NADRA or a valid passport or any other acceptable document issued by the Federal Government showing his / her proof of identity.
Applicants are required to submit their original CNICs / Passports along with attested copies of degrees at any Post Office / Head Post Office across Pakistan within 15 days after the advertisement is published.
