The Anti-Corruption Court in Peshawar has announced that it will be hiring new people to help assist in trials and hearings, as well as to take care of the day-to-day administrative functions of the court. The vacant positions include Assistant Public Prosecutors, Accountants, Clerks, and Driver/Porters.

Job Description
The ideal candidates for these positions should be passionate about serving their country, have a keen interest in law, and possess excellent writing skills. All applicants must have at least completed high school or its equivalent with English as a first language.
Fluency in Urdu is desirable but not required. Candidates under 25 years of age are welcome to apply for an apprenticeship position. Apprentices will begin at grade 4 and progress to higher grades based on ability and performance.
The court has begun an intensive training program to introduce new employees to their roles and responsibilities while they also work on clearing existing cases from backlogs; all employees are encouraged to stay focused on streamlining operations as they learn their new jobs through hands-on experience.
The court’s primary responsibilities include tackling fraud and corruption among government employees, investigating corruption in public services, and conducting anti-graft operations. It also receives bribes, embezzled funds, and other illegal payments so that they can be returned to its rightful owners.
The court has over 500 employees including judges, lawyers, accountants, investigators, secretaries, and more; it provides a wide range of jobs that require specialized skills as well as general office support positions. Candidates should note that many positions are currently filled while apprenticeships are available on a first-come first served basis.
Qualifications Required
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field from a recognized institution, with at least 5 years of working experience. Additional qualification of LLB would be an added advantage. Candidates having Additional Qualifications (MA/MSc) / Diploma will not be considered.
The candidate should have submitted his/her most recent evaluation certificate along with attested copies of their qualifications and experience certificates at the time of application submission to ensure consideration for shortlisting and subsequent interview(s).
The selected candidate(s) will be serving at the Anti-Corruption Establishment which investigates cases of Corruption and misuse of power. The Candidate should have a proven record of honesty, integrity, and sound professional integrity besides being able to work independently.
Candidates with having proven track record against corruption are preferred over others. Applicants must have good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines. Applicants must be fluent in Urdu (Reading/Writing).
If you don’t speak Urdu but can read it, then only apply! Those applicants who speak Pashto or any other local language may also apply if they are fluent readers of Urdu as well.
